Nordex Group published Sustainability Statement 2025

With the Integrated Annual Report 2025, the Nordex Group presents its tenth Group Sustainability Statement. The report outlines the progress and measures of the company-wide sustainability activities and provides transparent insights into key impacts, risks and opportunities.

Three Key Highlights 2025

The Nordex Group’s wind turbines helped avoid a total of 92.2 million tonnes of CO₂e in 2025 – a new record. Since 2022, the company has reduced its direct greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1) and energy-related emissions (Scope 2) by 36.6 percent, remaining within the targeted corridor of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

Significant progress was also achieved in the supply chain: 33 percent of relevant suppliers now have validated Science-Based Targets – an important step towards reducing indirect emissions (Scope 3).

The EU Taxonomy once again confirms the sustainable orientation of the business model: 100 percent of revenues and over 92 percent of capital and operating expenditures are classified as environmentally sustainable.

The Sustainability Statement was prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and the EU Taxonomy. It covers the reporting period from 1 January to 31 December 2025 and consolidates all material environmental, social and governance topics of the company.

At the same time, the Team Nordex is in the final stages of shaping its redefined strategy from 2026 onwards.
