Health and safety in the workplace are a top priority at the Nordex Group. We are building a safety culture that empowers every employee and business partner to take ownership, act responsibly and protect themselves and others. We put this into practice with global training programs that raise safety awareness and deepen technical expertise. Together with our Academies and Regional Training Centers in Germany, Spain, Türkiye, France, the US, UK, Poland, Sweden and Chile, we equip people to work smarter and safer with Nordex technology.
The Global Technical Academy (GTA) in Germany and our Global Project Management (PM) Training & Onboarding team develop innovative training programs tailored to Nordex turbines, systems and procedures and deploy technical learning solutions worldwide. All HSE training follows Global Wind Organisation (GWO) standards, ensuring high-quality, industry-compliant instruction. Through our train the trainer approach, regional instructor networks, and blended learning formats, we connect learners across the organization. Through locally adapted content and blended learning formats, from in-person training and online modules to practical exercises, we ensure that specialists can use Nordex technology safely and efficiently.

Through Global PM Training & Onboarding, the Global Technical Academy and our regional training networks, we provide standardized training for customers, partners and technicians, including GWO-certified courses. By combining practical turbine training with digital learning, we help participants work safely and efficiently during turbine installation and maintenance projects worldwide.

SAFETY IS NOT ONLY A REQUIREMENT – IT IS A SHARED COMMITMENT
Gain a solid understanding of Nordex safety expectations with training built around our Safety Together principle. All contractors working with us complete mandatory HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) modules that cover safety protocols, environmental standards and emergency procedures. Through a blended mix of digital learning and classroom sessions, we address role and project-specific needs, deepen technical knowledge and reinforce safe work practices – going beyond compliance to reduce risks and strengthen a culture of continuous improvement.
GWO Training

Benefit from GWO-compliant safety training at our certified Nordex Academy locations in Germany and Turkey – for maximum safety and the highest quality of training. As an active Global Wind Organisation member since 2019, we work with industry partners and GWO working groups to define standardized training that improves safety and productivity, supports injury-free workplaces and sets common international standards for safety training and emergency procedures in the wind industry.
