Nordex Group Achieves EcoVadis Platinum Status for Outstanding Sustainability Performance

For the first time, the Nordex Group has been awarded the Platinum status in the EcoVadis sustainability rating, marking a significant milestone in our journey toward responsible business practices. With an overall score of 85 out of 100 points, the Nordex Group now ranks among the top one percent of companies assessed worldwide, including within the “Manufacture of General Machinery” sector.

EcoVadis ratings are widely recognized as a key benchmark for global supply chains and procurement teams. The Platinum status confirms Nordex’s reliability in meeting demanding sustainability requirements. The comprehensive assessment evaluated Nordex’s performance across four critical areas: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. This year, Nordex improved its scores in every category and exceeded the industry average throughout. Our strongest results were achieved in Environment, where we scored a perfect 100 out of 100, followed by Labour and Human Rights with 89 points and Ethics with 83 points. While Sustainable Procurement remains our area with the greatest potential for improvement, the overall progress from last year’s score of 74 to 85 points is remarkable.

This achievement reflects significant advancements in how Nordex manages and communicates sustainability. It was driven by stronger and more detailed policies across all pillars, enhanced transparency through CSRD-aligned reporting, and the implementation of effective actions. In addition, Nordex reaffirmed its global commitment by joining the United Nations Global Compact, underlining our dedication to internationally recognized principles of responsible business conduct.
