GET-TOGETHER WITH YEKA RES-3 INVESTORS IN ISTANBUL

The Turkish wind industry is this week coming together as part of the 27th ICCI Energy and Environment Fair and Conference in Istanbul where Nordex Group colleagues are also on the ground meeting with valued customers and business partners. The Nordex Group met  with the Turkish YEKA RES-3 investors at Çırağan Palace in a breakfast event in Istanbul. In the third round of national tenders under the Renewable Energy Resource Area (YEKA) model held in June 2022, Turkish investors won 850 MWs in total capacity for wind energy projects. Nordex signed preliminary protocols with Eksim Enerji (260 MW), Aşiyan Enerji (170 MW), a subsidiary of Rönesans Enerji group, and MBD İnşaat (30 MW), who are the winners of the YEKA RES-3 tender. As of today, Nordex has taken a step towards the supply of 72 turbines for a total capacity of 504 MW, out of the announced 850 MW capacity within the scope of the YEKA RES-3 tenders.

During the event held at Çırağan Palace, Division Europe CEO of the Nordex Group, İbrahim Özarslan, emphasized in his opening speech: “As the Nordex Group, we are excited to reinforce our local presence on which we have been working for over a decade by bringing our latest technology to the Turkish market within the scope of the YEKA RES-3 tender.”

The Group, which will also meet the local content requirements necessary for the YEKA RES-3 projects, has begun the necessary domestic investments to ensure compliance of the N163/6.X turbine within the tender specifications. As a wind turbine manufacturer, the company was the first to provide its investors a domestic contribution of 9.4-dollar cents within the scope of YEKDEM feed-in tariff mechanism in Türkiye, and it plans to pursue the localization of the N163/6.X turbine which has currently the largest rotor diameter in serial production. This giant turbine, which aims to achieve the highest production, especially in low-wind areas, will provide significant contributions to the YEKA-3 investors. Thanks to the selection of the latest wind turbine technology, a significant investment will be made in Türkiye which will contribute to both employment growth and technology transfer through the YEKA RES-3 tenders.

NORDEX YEKA RES-3 YATIRIMCILARI İLE BİR ARAYA GELDİ

Nordex, YEKA RES-3 ihaleleri kapsamında ön protokol imzaladığı yatırımcılarla Çırağan Sarayı’nda düzenlenen kahvaltıda bir araya geldi. Nordex, YEKA RES-3 rüzgâr enerjisi ihaleleri kapsamında 2022 yılı Haziran ayında yapılan yarışmalarda 260 MW kapasite hakkı kazanan Eksim Enerji, üç ayrı bölgede 170MW’lık kapasite hakkı kazanan Rönesans Enerji grubunda yer alan Aşiyan Enerji ve 30MW kapasite hakkı kazanan MBD İnşaat ile ön protokol imzaladı. Bugün itibariyle, YEKA RES-3 ihaleleri kapsamında açıklanan toplam 850MW kapasitenin 504MW’lık kısmı için Nordex 72 adet türbin tedariği için adım atmış oldu.

Çırağan Sarayı’nda gerçekleştirilen organizasyonda açılış konuşmasını yapan Nordex Grup Avrupa CEO’su İbrahim Özarslan: ”Nordex olarak en yeni teknolojimizi YEKA RES-3 ihaleleri kapsamında Türkiye’ye getirerek on yılı aşkın süredir attığımız yerlilik adımlarını pekiştirmekten dolayı heyecan duyuyoruz.”  şeklinde konuşarak, Nordex’in Türkiye’deki yerli yatırımlara verdiği önemin altını çizdi.
