Nordex SE celebrates 25 years as a listed company
Today, we are celebrating a very special milestone at the Nordex Group: 25 years since Nordex SE was first listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
Since our debut on 2 April 2001 on the “Neuer Markt”, Nordex has developed from an ambitious wind pioneer into one of the leading global suppliers of onshore wind turbines. Our IPO – with 32.9 million shares, placed at €9 – laid the financial foundation for the company’s long-term growth.
Twenty years later, Nordex SE was admitted to the MDAX, with a market capitalization of around €3 billion at the time.
Today, five years on and a full quarter-century after the IPO, Nordex has established a strong, credible position in the capital markets. Our market capitalization is now close to €10 billion, supported by the trust and confidence of international investors in our long-term strategic direction.
The 2025 financial year was among the most successful in our history:
- All annual targets met
- Record order intake
- Strong operational performance across project and service
- Significant improvements in key financial metrics
Our listing has proven its value many times over. It gives us access to one of Europe’s most important financial centers, strengthens our visibility, and enables reliable financing for future growth. At the same time, being a publicly listed company comes with responsibility. We are not only managing institutional capital – we are ultimately managing the investments and trust of thousands of employees, shareholders, and partners. Delivering on our commitments is part of who we are.
“Today’s 25th anniversary highlights how closely technological progress, the global energy transition, and a stable, capital-market-oriented growth path are connected. Our stock market listing continues to be a central foundation for Nordex’s successful development,” José Luis Blanco, CEO of the Nordex Group.
A sincere thank you to our long-standing shareholders, partners, and global teams for their support throughout this journey. Here’s to the next 25 years!
