Nordex UK & Ireland honoured with RoSPA President’s Award for a Decade of Health & Safety Excellence
Nordex UK & Ireland is proud to announce that we have been awarded the prestigious RoSPA President’s Award, recognising an exceptional milestone of ten consecutive Gold Awards for outstanding performance in health and safety.
Presented by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), this award highlights our enduring commitment to a safe working environment across all our operations – from turbine installation to ongoing maintenance – throughout the UK and Ireland.
At this year’s RoSPA Awards Ceremony, held in London on 10 June, ten of our colleagues proudly represented Nordex UK & Ireland to collect the award on behalf of the wider team. Their presence is a powerful reminder that this achievement belongs to everyone contributing to our Safety Together culture.
Working in onshore wind means that our teams regularly work in high-risk environments, and this milestone reflects not only a decade of consistent health and safety excellence, but the collective dedication, vigilance, and care of our own people and those who work alongside us.
“Receiving the RoSPA President’s Award is a tremendous honour and a testament to the safety culture we’ve built across Nordex UK & Ireland. I’m incredibly proud of our teams for earning this recognition through their unwavering commitment to safety, day in and day out. This achievement also reflects the dedication of our trusted subcontractors and business partners, who play a vital role in upholding the same high standards we live by. In an industry like onshore wind, where working in high-risk environments is part of the job, we know that collective vigilance and care are what make the difference. Together, we continue to raise the bar for safety in the renewables sector.”, Jason Welch, VP & MD, Nordex UK & Ireland.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone – our colleagues, contractors, and partners – who play a part in making Nordex a safe place to work. Here’s to building on this legacy as we continue powering a safer, more sustainable future.
