Sweden: Turbines powered to the grid at Åndberg

The first kWh was produced the 26th of October at the Åndberg wind farm located in Härjedalen municipality, Jämtland County. Since then 23 of the turbines has been energised and produced their first kWh.

Thanks to the highly skilled teams, we have been able to install the turbines on time – even in harsh winter conditions. The project are planned to be in commission in 2021 and the pre-erection and installation of all 53 turbines are completed.

The Åndberg wind farm will consist of 53 wind turbines of the model N149/5.X with TS105-01 towers and a tip height of 180 m. The expected yearly production of the Åndberg wind farm is 800 GWh.
