Sweden: Last turbine installed at Målajord
The last turbine at wind farm Målajord, located 22 km northeast of the municipality Växjö in Kronoberg County, has been erected during the week 24 and the first kWh has been produced to the grid last week.
The project consists of three N149/4.8 turbines with 135-meter towers and has a total output of 14 MW.
The components have been transported from the port in Oskarshamn. In collaboration with the municipality of Växjö, a bridge was temporarily removed to enable the transport to the site. The municipality plans to install a new higher bridge to allow future wind turbine transportation.
