Nordex Turkey and Enerjisa Üretim organized a technical training for 21 female employees

From 22 to 24 February 2022, Nordex Turkey in collaboration with Enerjisa Üretim, Turkey’s leading electricity generation utility and joint venture of Sabancı Holding of Turkey and E.on of Germany, organized a technical training program for 21 female employees from different departments of Enerjisa Üretim. After two days of technical and theoretical training at the Nordex Academy Turkey’s İzmir premises, participants visited TPI Composites Sasalı Blade Manufacturing Plant in İzmir and Çeşme Wind Farm in order to get more practical insights into blade manufacturing and an operational wind park.

Nordex Turkey’s Managing Director Habib Babacan: “We, as Nordex Turkey, are pleased to empower women in the energy sector. With this program, we are able to contribute to achieving Enerjisa Üretim’s future targets in renewables and wind energy and also enhance technical knowledge of female employees in wind energy. During the program, Enerjisa Üretim’s female employees got some insights into wind turbine technology, its production and its technical operations.
