Nordex Group celebrates 200 employees in the Nordics

Nordex Group has reached another great growth milestone in the Nordic region this month, hiring its 200th employee. The steady growth of operations has been accomplished over the last fifteen years, starting with the incorporation of Nordex Sverige AB in 2006.

Nordex Finland Oy is the region’s largest organization, established as a branch organization in 2011 and now employing over 100 colleagues within only a decade.

Our Norwegian branch company, Nordex Norway GmbH, was established in 2013 with a service organization set up to manage the operations at the Midtfjellet wind farm. Over the years, this wind farm has grown in three separate construction phases and now comprises 55 turbines with an organization of 11 dedicated colleagues ensuring safe and reliable operations. In 2021, our organization will expand further as Nordex has been contracted to build over 450 MW of new projects at Øyfjellet and Lutelandet.

This year alone, Nordex will install turbines with a total capacity of 1.38 GW in the Nordics. Our contribution will increase the installed wind power capacity in Europe by 0.6 %.

Nordex is looking forward to celebrating the continuous growth by welcoming more passionate professionals into its team. The recruitment will be an ongoing process in Sweden, Finland and Norway as the Nordic headcount is expected to rise close to 300 by the end of the year.

Last year Nordex Sweden moved its headquarters into new, modern office premises in order to accommodate the growing team in Uppsala
