Today Bernard Schäferbarthold (45) resigns from his position as a member of the Nordex SE Management Board. This change in the post of CFO, which was already announced in January, has thus been completed as planned. The Supervisory Board has appointed Christoph Burkhard as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer a position he assumed on 1 September. « The transitional phase now concluded meant that we were able to make a seamless change. I am confident that Mr. Burkhard has the requisite skills to further strengthen our business. At the same time I would like to wish my colleague of many years standing, Bernard Schäferbarthold, every success in his new function and thank him for his dedication and the all-round success of his work, » said Lars Bondo Krogsgaard, CEO of Nordex SE. Bernard Schäferbarthold has not renewed his contract at Nordex beyond the year 2016 for personal reasons. The new Chief Financial Officer at Nordex SE, Christoph Burkhard (52), last worked as CFO at Siemens Wind Power Offshore and has wide-ranging experience in the banking sector.
