Nordex secures experienced wind manager as its new CFO

Hamburg, 1 June 2016. Christoph Burkhard (52) will join Nordex SE’s Management Board on 1 September 2016 to become the company’s new Chief Financial Officer. Christoph Burkhard is an
experienced financial manager with a long track-record in the wind power industry, most recently as Chief Financial Officer at Siemens Wind Power Offshore prior to which he was Chief Financial Officer at Siemens Wind Power EMEA Onshore. Prior to his career with Siemens, Christoph Burkhard worked in the international banking sector.

Nordex’s current Chief Financial Officer Bernard Schäferbarthold will be leaving Nordex latest at the end of 2016 after Christoph Burkhard has familiarised himself with his new position. Bernard
Schäferbarthold had announced in January that he would not be renewing his contract for personal reasons.
