Nordex SE has received a further order from NorthernIrish utility Energia Renewables. Under the contract, Nordex will besupplying and installing 38 N90/2500 turbines as well as the provision ofpremium service for 15 years for the Meenadreen Extension wind farm.Nordex will be starting work on installation of the wind farm, which islocated in Donegal in North West of Ireland, in March 2016. Located closeto the coast, this site offers very good wind speeds. Consequently, Energiahas opted for N90/2500 turbines, which are designed for these conditions.The project is to achieve an annual yield of a 255 gigawatts, equivalentto the consumption of some 70 thousand homes.Meenadreen is Nordex's largest project in Ireland to date. Last year,Nordex installed 8 N90's at "Thornog" wind farm in Northern Ireland forEnergia Renewables.
