Nordex SE / Key word(s): Incoming Orders19.04.2013 / 08:33---------------------------------------------------------------------Installation to commence in autumn 2013Hamburg, Istanbul, April 19, 2013. Wind turbine manufacturer Nordex is ableto defend a leading position in the Turkish market. Now it has signeddelivery and service contracts with two long-standing customers for fourprojects entailing a total of 50 turbines with a combined total capacity of125 megawatts.A total of 38 N100/2500 turbines are to be connected to the grid for EksimHolding by autumn 2013. 20 turbines will be built at the Hasanbeyli windfarm in Eastern Turkey close to the town of Osmaniye. Located in thefoothills of the Taurus mountains in the South East of Turkey at analtitude of around 1,400 metres, they will produce an annual energy yieldof around 180 gigawatt/hours. Nordex is also installing a further wind farmfor Eksim close to Silivri near Istanbul. Driven by average wind speeds of7.8 m/s, the 18 2.5 MW turbines will generate 150 gigawatt/hours ofelectricity a year.Nordex is also supplying Dost Enerji, with which Nordex originally launchedits business activities in Turkey, with twelve N90/2500 turbines. One ofthese will be added to the Yuntdag wind farm, which has since been enlargedto 23 Nordex turbines. Located to the north of Izmir, this wind farm markedNordex's first foray into the Turkish market back in 2007. Thanks to thesuperb wind conditions at this site, the energy yield from this singleturbine is expected to come to nine gigawatt/hours a year, equivalent to acapacity factor of 48 percent. Nordex is assembling the other eleventurbines at the Geres wind farm in the direct vicinity of Yuntdag. Thiswind farm is to produce 100 gigawatt/hours of clean energy a year. DostEnerji is one of the pioneers in the commercial utilisation of wind powerin Turkey.Says Lars Bondo Krogsgaard, a member of Nordex's Management Board: 'We aredelighted that our long-standing customers Dost Enerji and Eksim Holdinghave again opted for Nordex turbines. This underscores the favourableexperience which they have gained with our technology and skills. As wellas this, it testifies to two superb partnerships precisely in the Turkishwind power market, which is characterised by strong growth potential andexcellent wind conditions.' The OECD predicts for Turkey an average growthof GDP of 5.2 percent.Says Dr. Ruchan Hamamci, Coordinator of Renewable Energies at EksimHolding: 'We are currently operating wind farms with a capacity of 140 MWand will be adding a further 95 MW to this with our Hasanbeyli and Silivriwind farms. Our goal is to become the leading supplier of CO2-freeelectricity from wind in Turkey. Nordex has supplied us with reliable andefficient wind power systems allowing us to come closer to reaching ourgoal from day to day.'About NordexAs one of the technological leaders in multi-megawatt wind power systems,Nordex is benefiting from the trend in favour of large-scale turbines. TheGeneration Gamma range comprises the N90/2500, N100/2500 and the N117/2400,the most efficient onshore turbine. To date, over 2,000 of these turbineshave been produced. This experience with multi-megawatt turbines givesNordex a decisive lead over most of its competitors. With Generation Delta,Nordex is now offering the fourth generation of its proven multi-megawattplatform (N100/3300, N117/30). Nordex has installed a total of around 5,100turbines with an aggregate capacity of more than 8,100 MW all around theworld. With exports accounting for more than 85 percent of its business,Nordex SE plays a key role in international high-growth regions. TheCompany has offices and subsidiaries in 22 countries around the world witha total global headcount of over 2,500 employees. For more information, please contact:Nordex SEFelix LosadaTelephone: +49 40 300 30 - 1000, Telefax: - 1333End of Corporate News---------------------------------------------------------------------19.04.2013 Dissemination of a Corporate News, transmitted by DGAP - acompany of EquityStory AG.The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement.DGAP's Distribution Services include Regulatory Announcements,Financial/Corporate News and Press Releases.Media archive at www.dgap-medientreff.de and www.dgap.de---------------------------------------------------------------------Language: English Company: Nordex SE Langenhorner Chaussee 600 22419 Hamburg Germany Phone: 040 / 30030 1000 Fax: 040 / 30030 1101 E-mail: info@nordex-online.com Internet: www.nordex-online.com ISIN: DE000A0D6554 WKN: A0D655 Indices: TecDAX Listed: Regulierter Markt in Frankfurt (Prime Standard); Freiverkehr in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Hannover, München, Stuttgart End of News DGAP News-Service --------------------------------------------------------------------- 207716 19.04.2013
