The companies have agreedon the delivery of 72 N131/3000 turbines for six projects in 2016 and 2017.The planned projects are intended for different IEC-3 sites in Finland. Thecustomer has now called down the first two wind farms, "Limakko" and"Kantti", with a total of 17 turbines and 51 MW. Delivery is to be effectedin the course of this year.With this frame contract covering a total volume of 216 megawatts Nordex isstrengthening its position in the important Finnish wind market, where themanufacturer has been operating through a subsidiary since 2011. Thecompany has a particular advantage in Scandinavia with its anti-icingsystem, which makes it possible to increase the energy yield of turbines incold regions by up to ten percent by reducing machine stops due to ice.
