DGAP-News: Nordex SE / Key word(s): Market Report2015-07-30 / 12:05---------------------------------------------------------------------Manufacturer installs 140 megawatts in the first half of the year Hamburg, 30 July 2015. Birthday greetings from the market: half-way throughits anniversary year Nordex SE has achieved a market share in Germany of11.8 percent. This means that in terms of installed turbines themanufacturer is again in the double-digit range in its home market for thefirst time since 2001 (just under 12 percent in the year as a whole). While in general the sector is rather quiet when it comes to installationscompared to 2014, the Hamburg manufacturer has maintained last year's levelin absolute terms. According to the German Machinery and PlantManufacturing Association (VDMA), the total wind energy capacity installedoverall in Germany in the first half of 2015 stands at nearly 1,200megawatts (443 wind turbine generators). Of this 140 megawatts areaccounted for by Nordex turbines. With a nominal output of 2.4 megawatts, most of the turbines fall below theaverage of just under 2.7 megawatts calculated by the VDMA. Nordex hastherefore achieved its large share of 11.8 percent thanks to the number andspread of installed turbines. In total the manufacturer installed 57turbines in Germany in the first half of the year. According to the numberof the totally installed turbines Nordex therefore achieved a share of 12.9percent.With 51 turbines, the N117/2400, the low-wind machine from the Gammaseries, is still the absolute top seller in the Nordex product portfolio. One of the largest orders to be implemented is a large-scale product inChransdorf, Brandenburg, an IEC-3 site where Nordex setup 20 Gamma turbinesuntil end of June. To complete the wind farm, Nordex will install four moreN117/2400 on this site.Nordex celebrated yet premier in Janneby, Schleswig-Holstein, where thecompany installed the first N131/3000, the follow-up model to the N117/2400from its Delta series. The results of measuring tests show that the noiselevel of the N131/300 is sometimes even lower than projected.Installations in the first half of the year account for a little less thanone third of the volume planned by Nordex for the year as a whole.---------------------------------------------------------------------2015-07-30 Dissemination of a Corporate News, transmitted by DGAP - aservice of EQS Group AG.The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. The DGAP Distribution Services include Regulatory Announcements,Financial/Corporate News and Press Releases.Media archive at and English Company: Nordex SE Erich-Schlesinger-Straße 50 18059 Rostock Germany Phone: +49 381 6663 3300 Fax: +49 381 6663 3339 E-mail: Internet: ISIN: DE000A0D6554 WKN: A0D655 Indices: TecDAX Listed: Regulated Market in Frankfurt (Prime Standard); Regulated Unofficial Market in Berlin, Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Hanover, Munich, Stuttgart End of News DGAP News-Service --------------------------------------------------------------------- 382315 2015-07-30
