DGAP-News: Nordex SE / Key word(s): Incoming Orders23.09.2014 / 09:03---------------------------------------------------------------------Hamburg, 23 September 2014. Nordex has received the first order for thelatest product of its Delta turbine generation. The manufacturer is toinstall eight N131/3000 machines for Bürgerwindpark Hollich Sellen GmbH &Co.KG in the 24-MW wind farm in Hollich-Sellen in the district ofSteinfurt, North Rhine-Westphalia. Nordex CSO Lars Bondo Krogsgaard: "Thisorder shows that there is a high level of confidence in our product.Although we will not be setting up the first N131/3000 until the end of theyear, the Generation Delta technical platform has proved a success. Inaddition to this, we already have several approvals in accordance withGerman anti-pollution law for this turbine."One of the main reasons for choosing this turbine was its economicefficiency. The large rotor and the 3 MW rated capacity ensure that goodyields are generated in regions with light winds. Nordex will be setting upthe Hollich-Sellen turbines on 134-metre hybrid towers to enable theN131/3000 to take maximum advantage of the site.Secondly, the local investors in the communal wind farm attach greatimportance to environmental compatibility. For instance, the low noiseemission level of the turbine of max. 104.5 decibels is a major factor inthe wind farm being accepted by local residents.Furthermore, as an experienced operator the customer sets high standards interms of service and has decided to sign a Nordex Premium Service contractfor 15 years. The final financing for the project is expected to be completed shortly. Anoption has also been agreed on an additional extension phase for the windfarm. The N131/3000 is one focus of the Nordex presentation at Wind EnergyHamburg fair, to be held from 23 to 26 September. Nordex will be exhibitingthe NR 65.5 rotor blade for this turbine below the "Messeturm" at thecentral main entrance to the fair.Nordex - a profileAs a technological leader among suppliers of megawatt turbines, Nordexbenefits particularly from the global trend towards large wind turbines. The Generation Gamma product range comprises the N90/2500, N100/2500 andthe N117/2400, which is one of the most efficient inland series turbines. To date more than 2,600 turbines from this platform have been produced. With Generation Delta Nordex is now offering the fourth turbine generationof the proven multi-megawatt platform (N100/3300, N117/3000, N131/3000).Nordex has installed more than 6,200 turbines with a capacity in excess of10,700 MW all around the world.
