Nordex has sold the French wind farm projects"Aubigeon" and "Les Touches" to the investment company GN RenewableInvestments. "We are pleased to finalize the sale of two further projectsin France developed by our own organization", states Nordex ManagementBoard member Lars Bondo Krogsgaard. The projects have been developed byNordex in cooperation with development partners and are sold on a turn-keybasis.Construction work on the two projects has already started. Aubigeon and LesTouches will deliver first power in the summer 2015. The "Les Touches" siteis located near Nantes in the Departement Loire Atlantique and comprisessix turbines N100/2500 turbines. The project will yield around 36 GWhannually. "Aubigeon" is located in the Departement Indre and comprises fiveN100/2500 turbines and will produce 32 GWh annually; GN RenewableInvestments has the option to purchase one further turbine for thisproject. In sum the two projects will supply up to 20,000 French householdswith clean energy.GN Renewable Investments has signed 10 year service contracts with Nordexfor both projects.
