Nordex USA Secures 45.6 MW Order from Exelon Wind

Nordex USA, Inc. will be supplying 19 wind turbinesto Exelon Wind, LLC for the next phase of the Beebe Community Wind Projectin Gratiot County, Michigan. The first phase, which was completed inDecember 2012, features 34 of Nordex' N117/2400 turbines and was the firstmajor project worldwide to use the machines, specifically designed forlight wind conditions. Today more than 260 turbines of this type areinstalled or currently under construction.The 2.4 MW turbines, on 91 meter towers, will be located near Ithaca,Michigan, about 45 miles north of the state capital of Lansing.
