The turbine manufacturer Nordex is continuing tosteadily fortify its market position in Sweden and is now supplying nineN100/2500 turbines for the Bösjövarden wind farm. The contractor and clientis the leading Nordic wind farm developer O2, which only recently awardedNordex a contract for the delivery of 24 N117/3000 Generation Deltaturbines. This brings the total capacity which O2 ordered from Nordex thisyear to over 94 MW.The turbines are to be delivered in summer 2014. Nordex will be supplyingcold-climate versions of the turbines and additionally fitting out therotor blades with its anti-icing system. Located in central Sweden near thetown of Mora, Bösjövarden is characterised by temperatures down to -20degrees Celsius in the winter months.
