Follow-up order for Nordex from Turkey<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Hamburg, 24 November 2017.<\/b> The Nordex Group has received another contract from Turkey. From April 2018 onwards, it will be installing nine turbines with a total capacity of 30 megawatts in the Province of Izmir. The customer is Umut Insaat, which is constructing the sixth project in Turkey with Nordex with this order.<\/p>\n

Located at an altitude of 1,200 metres, the site is characterized by good wind conditions. For this reason, the customer has decided to order N117\/3600 and N117\/3000 turbines, which are designed for these wind conditions. Nordex will be supplying key components for the turbines from within Turkey in order to increase local manufacturing content.<\/p>\n

The production network comprises plants in Germany, Spain, Brazil, the United States and India.
