Hamburg, 24 September 2025.<\/b> The Nordex Group has received its first order from Spain for the supply of N175\/6.X wind turbines. The independent power producer (IPP) Abei Energy, based in Madrid, has ordered eight turbines for the Avellanosa wind farm, located northwest of Burgos in the Castile and Le\u00f3n region of Spain.<\/p>\n

In addition, Abei Energy has opted for the Nordex Group\u2019s Premium Service for maintenance of the turbines with a 20-year term. This ensures the power producer long-term operational reliability and maximum energy yields.<\/p>\n

The N175 turbines will be delivered and installed by the Nordex Group on tubular steel towers with a hub height of 119 meters. The installation of the turbines is scheduled to begin in late summer 2026, with commissioning planned for early 2027.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are very pleased with the trust placed in us by Abei Energy and to be installing the N175\/6.X in Spain for the first time with this project,\u201d says Francisco Cejudo, Director Sales Spain at Nordex Group. \u201cThe turbine type is ideal for the site conditions in Spain. We are confident that, whenever permitting conditions allow, this turbine will deliver the best results for our customers and become a key asset in future wind energy projects in the country.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis agreement represents a key step toward achieving Abei\u2019s expansion goals of developing, building, and operating its own assets in the Spanish wind energy market and reinforces its commitment to the energy transition and decarbonization,\u201d said Luis Barrado, Global EPC Managing Director of Abei Energy.<\/p>\n
