The customer is PNE Wind AG, a projectdevelopment company that has now placed an order with the turbinemanufacturer for the delivery and installation of the \"Chransdorf\" windfarm. The project consists of altogether 24 Nordex N117\/2400 wind turbineswith a total installed capacity of 57.6 megawatts. Installation work is setto start as soon as November and the wind farm is due to go on grid inautumn 2015.The project is located in a wooded area some 100 kilometres to thesouth-east of Berlin. Nordex will install the turbines, which areparticularly suited for low wind conditions, on 141-metre towers.
