In 2015 Nordex will be building the \"Kiyik\u00f6y\"wind farm close to the town of Saray in the north of the Turkish provinceof Tekirdag on the Black Sea coast for the Adali Holding. The order entailsthe delivery and installation of 15 Nordex N117\/3000 Generation Deltaturbines with a hub height of 91 metres plus a 10-year premium servicecontract.In view of the moderate wind conditions with average speeds of 8 m\/s, therobust N117\/3000 turbine, which is certified for wind class IEC 2, promisesan optimum yield. The fifteen turbines will be able to generate over170,000 MWh of clean electricity per year, equivalent to a capacity factorof over 43%.Nordex will be having the anchor cages, rotor blades and towers produced inTurkey. Thanks to this local manufacturing content, the customer will beable to claim a higher feed-in tariff.Adali Holding is a conglomerate with activities in construction, tourism,project development, real estate and energy. It currently operateshydropower and geothermal power stations and has further wind energylicences for 150 MW.
