Double-digit growth in demand for Nordex products in Germany<\/b>
Eleven contracts awarded by German customers for 112.8 MW in Q4<\/p>\n

Hamburg, 19 December 2014.<\/b> Nordex SE is continuing to benefit from its strong position in the German market. Thus, order intake in the final quarter of the year to date has risen by around 36 percent to 112.8 megawatts. Eleven different project developers, municipal utilities, citizen wind farms and private-equity investors have ordered 47 turbines for their wind farms. A good 90 percent of these are IEC3 turbines designed for low-wind locations, a segment in which Nordex has had a particularly competitive product for a number of years. In addition, customers have awarded contracts for the N117\/3000 IEC2 turbine, which is certified for terrains with stronger winds.<\/p>\n

Nordex has also been able to substantially boost its output in the execution of orders this year. To date, it has installed 169 turbines in its domestic market, an increase of 64 percent over the previous year.<\/p>\n

“The strong demand for our products is very gratifying for our entire team – particularly our engineering and sales staff. Our customers always attach particular importance to on-schedule delivery and we have impressively been able to demonstrate that we can achieve this. Accordingly, we are facing the new year with great confidence,” says Lars Bondo Krogsgaard, a member of Nordex’s Management Board. <\/p>\n
