This is an important milestone in the installation of the planned 114 turbines at the site, located near Viksj\u00f6 in V\u00e4sternorrland County, Sweden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"420\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nordex-online.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/12\/Nysater_smaller-1024x420.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10421\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nordex-online.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/12\/Nysater_smaller-1024x420.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.nordex-online.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/12\/Nysater_smaller-300x123.png 300w, https:\/\/www.nordex-online.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/12\/Nysater_smaller-768x315.png 768w, https:\/\/www.nordex-online.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/12\/Nysater_smaller-1536x630.png 1536w, https:\/\/www.nordex-online.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/12\/Nysater_smaller.png 1619w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption><em>Erected turbines at Nys\u00e4ter wind farm.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Nys\u00e4ter\nis built in two phases: phase one consists of 73 turbines and phase two of 41\nturbines. When Nys\u00e4ter is completed, the wind farm will be one of Sweden\u2019s\nbiggest wind farms with a 474 MW installed capacity and ability to generate\nelectricity to power 300 000 households.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nturbines at Nys\u00e4ter are of the models N149\/4.0-4.5 and N131\/3900 of the\nDelta4000 and Delta generation. The N149\/4.0-4.5 turbines at Nys\u00e4ter are built\nwith 125 and 145 m towers with a total height of 200 m and 220 m. The N131\/3900\nturbines at Nys\u00e4ter are built with 120 and 134 m towers with a total height of\n185 m and 200 m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 75 m single-piece blades\nand components for the turbine towers and nacelles arrived to the port of\nH\u00e4rn\u00f6sand in June. The blades have been transported the 45 km route to the site\nwith Superwing trailers. In the fall the workforce at Nys\u00e4ter has been completing the\nground works and the casting of foundations at the first phase and are now\nfully ramped up with the installation of the turbines.\nCurrently the workforce of almost 600 continues working on site across\nthe both phases of the project and the installation of turbines will\ncontinue through the winter period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nordex-online.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/12\/lastpouring1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10422\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nordex-online.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/12\/lastpouring1.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.nordex-online.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/12\/lastpouring1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.nordex-online.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/12\/lastpouring1-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption><em>Pouring of foundations at Nys\u00e4ter wind farm.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Tim Carpenter, Vice President of the Nordic Region, &#8220;As we complete our second year of construction, we are extremely proud to have reached this important milestone of first power export to the Nys\u00e4ter project.
