The good name of the Nordex Group has a material influence on our business success and hence the value of our company. The trademarks “Nordex” and “Acciona Windpower” have to be fostered and protected.
To achieve this, we have implemented a Code of Conduct, which is binding for all employees of the Nordex Group worldwide. The Code of Conduct sets uniform standards which exceed the compliance of laws and regulations. Thereby we want to secure and increase the reputation and brand value of Nordex Acciona Windpower.
The Code of Conduct is attached as PDF here. The five core compliance principles are:
- We comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- We avoid conflicts of interests, ensure transparency and have zero-tolerance regarding corruption.
- We protect company property.
- Each employee knows, shares and lives by the Code of Conduct.
- We aspire to ethical standards.
In October 2011 the Management Board of Nordex SE decided to enact this Code of Conduct. It should be taken as an addition to the Nordex “Guidelines”, and also to other rules (e.g. for occupational safety and health, as well as concerning environmental and quality) which describe our common values, ethical principles and objectives.
Furthermore, we expects also from our Contractors/Suppliers – throughout the complete business relationship to them – integrity and ethical lawabiding behavior as well as strict adherence to the principals set out in particular by the UN Global Compact Initiative and the standards set out by our Code of Conduct for Contractors and Suppliers.
