Nordex has been delivering wind turbines on its proven multi-MW platform to customers all around the world since 2000. The steady evolution of our products ensures that they remain competitive. On the basis of shared technical platform generations, our range currently comprises Generation Gamma, Generation Delta and Delta4000. The average availability of all turbines covered by Nordex Service stands at 98 per cent. Nordex offers high-efficient turbines for all wind classes. Solution-driven innovations such as the Anti-Icing-System and a range of tower solutions expand the application area.
The Delta4000 series is the latest development stage of the successful Delta platform: The N149/4.0-4.5 turbine, which has been designed specifically for light-wind regions, has a 30 percent increase in rotor sweep and a variable power output of 4.0 to 4.5 MW.
Beginning of 2019 the leading wind power publication Windpower Monthly awarded the Gold medal in its "2018 Turbines of the Year" report to the Nordex N149/4.0-4.5 in the 3MW+ turbines segment.

The third generation of our series of multi-megawatt wind power systems, Generation Gamma, features efficient turbines for all wind classes. As the flagship of this platform generation, our N117/2400 is in a class of its own when it comes to efficiency at sites characterised by light wind speeds. Since the integration of Acciona Windpower, Nordex also offers the AW 1500 and the AW3000, a specially designed turbine for large projects without land constraints.
Based on proven concepts, the AW3000 offers a combination of scale and performance to maximise profitability at any site location. With different rotor diameters and hub heights the AW3000 is a perfect choice for wind sites with harshest wind conditions as well as for low wind sites. The AW3000 has been a great commercial success, with orders in the USA, Canada, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Poland, Spain, South Africa and Turkey.
The N149/4.0-4.5 turbine is our highest yielding onshore turbine for light and medium wind regions. The turbine has a 30 percent increase in rotor sweep and a variable power output of 4.0 to 4.5 MW.
The N133/4.8 turbine is our highest yielding onshore turbine for strong wind regions. The turbine has a 78 percent increase in rotor sweep and a power output of 4.8 MW.
N131/3900 (3.9 megawatts)
The N131/3900 is a highly efficient wind power system for medium and light wind sites. The sound power level is limited to max. 106.2 dB(A) through rotor blades equipped with serrated trailing edges.
N131/3600 (3.6 megawatts)
The N131/3600 offers maximum efficiency at IEC 2 locations. The sound emissions of the N131/3600 are limited to a max. 104.9 dB(A).
N117/3600 (3.6 megawatts)
The N117/3600 is a quiet and yet highly efficient wind power system for IEC-2 sites. With a rotor sweep of 10,715 square metres and an installed nominal output of 3.6 MW, it generates high yields at sites with medium wind speeds.
N131/3000 (3.0 megawatts)
The N131/3000 offers maximum efficiency at IEC3 locations. With its 13,478 square meters rotor sweep and 3.0 MW installed capacity it generates high yields at locations with average wind speeds below 7.5 m/s.
N117/3000 (3.0 megawatts)
The N117/3000 is a highly efficient wind power system for IEC-2 sites. With a rotor sweep of 10,715 square metres and an installed nominal output of 3.0 MW, it generates high yields at sites with medium wind speeds.
N100/3300 (3.3 megawatts)
Thanks to its large rotor diameter of 100 metres and an installed nominal output of 3.3 megawatts, the N100/3300 is the prime choice for strong-wind locations (IEC1).
N117 (2,4 Megawatt)
With a rotor sweep of 10,715 square metres an a rotor diameter of 117 meters, the N117/2400 is the IEC 3 turbine with the highest yield in its category.
N100 (2.5 Megawatt)
The Nordex N100/2500 kW is a turbine suitable for inland sites. With a rotor diameter of 100 metres, the N100/2500 is ideal for medium and low wind locations (IEC 2, IEC 3).
N90 (2.5 Megawatt)
The N90/2500 kW is a very versatile and at the same time very efficient wind turbine of the Nordex product family. The turbine is designed for strong wind sites (IEC 1).
The AW140/3000 is a wind power system optimised for the IEC S class locations. The turbine can be installed on 120-meter concrete towers as well as steel towers with hub heights from 82 to over 100 meters.
The AW132/3000 is the latest evolution of the 3-MW platform, designed for low wind sites with low turbulence intensity (IEC class IIIb).
The AW125/3000 wind turbine is the ideal solution for medium wind sites with lower turbulence intensity.
